Tournament Information

The 43rd Fernandina Beach Kingfish Tournament and Fishing Rodeo presented by the Nassau Sport Fishing Association was held Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Fernandina Harbor Marina.
The tournament featured a Kingfish Division and more family oriented Inshore Fishing Rodeo Division. The Kingfish Division is sanctioned by the Southern Kingfish Association as part of their 2026 Tournament Trail national championship series. The Kingfish Tournament featured an Eastern Boundry of 12 nautical miles limit shore.
The Rodeo consisted of 8 different species, Redfish, Sheepshead, Flounder, Whiting, Pompano, Cobia, Spanish Mackeral and Sea Bass. Every entrant could fish one or both divisions. Note: The Rodeo Division was open to Anglers fishing from boats or from land - inshore, the beach, bridges and public docks. Fishing was not permitted from private docks or other private property (private boats excepted). Rodeo Anglers could purchase live shrimp, fiddler crabs, mud minnows or sand fleas intended for use in the rodeo division only.
